Ranveer and Hritika live together as husband and wife. Hritika is pregnant. Ranveer and Hritika's best friend Shikhar Mehra, a lawyer takes Ishaani's case and proves her innocent. Ishaani meets her cousin brother Devarsh but he refuses to acknowledge her. Shikhar's mother, Kanchan shelters Ishaani in their house. Ishaani changes her identity and becomes Nirupa Roy. Shikhar overhears Devarsh and Ishaani's conversation and realizes that Devarsh is Ishaani's brother. Ranveer's mother, Amba and Hritika comes to know that Ishaani is free from Jail. Amba requests Hritika not to reveal the truth to Ranveer. Meanwhile, Falguni falls from the Mehta's terrace and dies. Investigating the case, Ranveer doubts Nirupa of killing Falguni. Shikhar tries to explain to Ranveer but he goes and searches for Nirupa. During this, he finds out that Nirupa is Ishaani and that she's alive. He is happy to see Ishaani but she rejects him and turns away from him because she thinks he is married to Hritika. Meanwhile, Baa and Shikhar's mother talk about Shikhar and Ishaani's marriage. Ishaani agrees to the marriage. Ranveer tries to convince Shikhar to not to marry her because he thinks she is marrying him for money. It is then revealed that Ranveer and Hrithika are not actually married. When Ranveer realizes that Ishaani is determined to marry Shikhar, in a fit of rage he decides to marry Hritika on the same day as Shikhar-Ishaani. Later, when Ishaani tries to investigate the truth of her mother's death case, she is supported by Shikhar and Hrithika. Somebody attempts to kill Ishaani. That man is arrested and upon being questioned by the police he indicates that he was paid by Devarsh to kill Ishaani. But the actual truth is revealed, Hritika was the actual culprit, she not only hired a killer to kill Ishaani but she also killed Chirag. The baby she is pregnant with is Chirag's and she kills him because he refuses to marry her. Hritika who now wants to start a family with ranveer is in rush to marry him. She also sends some goons to kidnap Ishani and ordered them to kill her thinking that Ishani can be a big threat to her wedding with Ranveer. Ishani however escapes and Hritika finds out about it, and swears to kill Ishani before she gets married to Ranveer. Therefore on her wedding day she goes to find Ishani and confronts her about everything and tells her that she was the one who killed Chirag and her mother and about her baby. Ishani is shocked but she was helpless after Hritika stabbed her. Thinking she was dead Hritika goes off to her wedding. Shekar somehow finds out that Ishani has been kidnaped and goes to her rescue. Baa also worried about Ishani's where abouts, is confused and thinking Ishani might be with Ranveer, goes to his wedding. There she could not find her and asks Ranveer about her where abouts. To her dismay Ranveer was also clueless to where Ishani was. Shekar finds Ishani and takes her to the hospital. There at the hospital ishani begs Shekar to take her to Ranveer as he is in great danger and goes to stop the wedding.
