Explore #voter-resources, hear how organizations are engaging candidates, and learn how these efforts are bringing climate and energy issues into Michigan’s 2026 elections.
Election years offer opportunities to elevate the issues that matter to our communities. When candidates, our neighbors, and the media are paying attention, we can put #climate and energy on the agenda, ask candidates where they stand on issues like energy affordability and data centers, and make sure voters have the information they need to make informed decisions.
Across #Michigan, organizations are helping voters understand where candidates stand on climate and energy issues. They’re creating voter guides, asking candidates tough questions, and sharing what they learn with the public.
Speakers include:
• Dustin Blitchok, Managing Editor, Planet Detroit
• Janet Zahn, Co-chair, Grand Rapids Climate Coalition
• Sandra Sorini Elser, VP of Advocacy, League of Women Voters of Michigan
