In Moses 7:58 "And again Enoch wept and cried unto the Lord, saying: When shall the earth rest?" and 7:49 "And when Enoch heard the earth mourn, he wept, and cried unto the Lord, saying: O Lord, wilt thou not have compassion upon the earth?". In D&C 88:25 "And again, verily I say unto you, the earth abideth the law of a celestial kingdom, for it filleth the measure of its creation, and transgresseth not the law". How beautiful is it that the Earth, and all of the elements that it is made of, abides by the Celestial law, and Earth patiently tolerates the sins of man upon its surface to a point and then begs us to believe, begs us to keep our covenants, begs us to follow our God, our creator.
