Donavon Thompson and Jack Armstrong sit down for an exclusive interview to talk about Jack's extensive acting career in Hollywood, his "Actor Space Studio" and of course, the making of "The Guyver". Jack began his career at Houston's Alley Theatre, showcasing versatility in roles including theater for young audiences to main stage productions. His on-screen journey commenced as Joe in the cult classic "Student Bodies," directed by Michael Ritchie. Subsequently, he embarked on a theatrical tour alongside Gary Burghoff, famed as Radar O’Reilly in MASH, performing across theaters in the United States and Canada. Upon his arrival in Los Angeles, Jack carved a niche in primetime television, gracing shows such as the pilot for "The Famous Teddy Z," "Quantum Leap," "Family Ties," "Oh, Baby," "The Tick," "High Tide," "V.I.P.," "Friends," "Beverly Hills 90210," and an extensive list including "Bones," "Scandal," "Timeless," "Westworld," "Why Women Kill," "The Morning Show," "How To Get Away with Murder," "Feud – Bette and Joan," "American Crime Story," and "Mr. Mayor," among others. In 1991, he landed the lead role in the live-action Sci-Fi thriller “The Guyver” opposite Mark Hamill. Jack Armstrong currently runs and teaches a wholistic approach to acting at "Actor Space Studio" in the Dallas, Texas area.
