Hold your club at both ends, one hand on the grip and one just below the club head, and your arms and your body finally get their own jobs back. In this video I show you a simple split hand drill in four steps: how to see where your shoulders really aim, how to turn so the club lifts instead of swinging low and around, how splitting your hands on the grip shows you which hand is the boss, and the small drop that helps the golfer who slices. The last piece comes from something Maja Stark said the week she won the 2025 U.S. Women's Open.
In this video:
• Step 1 — Hold it at both ends and look: the shaft shows you your shoulder line
• Step 2 — The turn: the club head goes up on the way back, the handle goes up on the way through
• Step 3 — Split the hands on the grip: feel which hand leads, and what grip pressure data showed
• Step 4 — The slice and the drop: what "from the inside" really feels like, and its honest cost
• A version for a stiff back, a sore shoulder or a new hip, plus something you can do tonight on a chair
• The final key: let the club hang — a ten-second routine for the first tee
Everything I teach here, written down properly — four books in one library:

PLEASE NOTE:
• "FAST" means you can feel the difference within a few swings. No distance or score improvement is promised, and your own results will be different.
• Warm up first with a short walk and a few easy swings. Work within a comfortable range of motion; if any position hurts, stop and ask your doctor or physiotherapist. Nothing in this video is medical advice.

Astrid is a digital presenter. Her teacher's stories are told to illustrate the ideas.
Try it sitting down and tell me in one word which step felt strangest: LOOK, LIFT, SPLIT or DROP?
