The BEST Alpine Lake View: Washington’s Lake Ann Near Mt. Baker

Here I hike to Lake Ann: a stunning alpine lake near Mt. Baker. This was a moderate hike at 8.6 miles and 2000 feet of gain. It’s one of the most scenic trails I’ve been on this year. There are incredible sights to see nearly the whole way. The view of Shuksan behind the lake is one of my favorites, and getting a close up view of that beast of a mountain is a highlight of the hiking season.
