What is an Electron?

Electrons are everywhere but old physics cannot explain them well. I talk about the inadequacy of the current point-like model of the electron which predicts infinite energy. I then introduce some papers that have suggested that the electron might be a trapped photon. These papers failed to provide a cage for the photon but quantised inertia suggests one: a horizon.
