Akai VR-X475EGN Multi- Standard VHS - any good?

Interesting one this week featuring an Akai VR-X475EGN. On the surface it looks so well built but a couple of things make me wonder how well these machines will last especially as this one is well looked after and is relatively low hours. I do like the colour of the PCBs though! The standard selector only works when you switch off the auto-select - just thought I'd mention that as I didn't in the video. More VHS videos to come soon with a Multi-Standard Aiwa in the pipe-line which has digital standards conversion which is supposed to be awful - we shall take a look!
