Gautrain truck crash update

JOHANNESBURG, 29 November 2015 - Transport officials are racing against time to restore damaged power and signalling infrastructure before the Monday morning rush hour. On Saturday a truck driving down a steep road in Pretoria landed on the train tracks, as a Gautrain approached. Quick thinking by the Gautrain driver averted disaster, but damage to rail infrastructure led to the suspension of services between Hatfield and Pretoria.​
