Hello guys and welcome back to "A missionary's tale..." series of videos, where I'm taking you on the mission field in Africa. You get to see our ministry, life and day to day activities here. Today is one of those days with mixed emotions. On one hand, I hate having to take people to the hospital, I don't want anyone to be sick, much less be sick here. But on the other hand, I'm grateful I can play a small part in helping them when they need help. In this video I'm taking Siyeni and Violet to Blantyre, to be seen by some doctors. Siyeni has had a colostomy done a while back and the doctors keep postponing his 3rd and last surgery, the one which would fix back his intestine. Violet is a girl we discovered a couple weeks back, when we had the Evangelistic Camp in Ligomeka. Then, her mother brought her "to the missionary" so she can be helped. Violet doesn't walk even though she's 7 and she probably suffers from a combination of complications. Nevertheless, both these kids deserve a chance to a better life, so we're doing everything in our power to give them the best help Malawi has to offer.
