Seat Sandal - easterly wind over Grisdale Tarn, Raise Beck, down to Dunmail Raise #paragliding

Late evening hike and fly on Friday 30 August. Wind forecast was very light (3mph) but i was expecting northerly. By the time i had climbed up it was easterly... So i slogged upto the top of Seat Sandal (750m) and took off over Grisdale Tarn. Very annoyingly my speedbar came off AGAIN on takeoff. I think there is something wrong with the hooks that connect it on the left side? I've ordered some new ones. Then a gentle float down to the valley, where I was landing in the lee of the mountain in the windy gap of Dunmail Raise. A bit bumpy in the valley as a gust tried to pick my wing up after i had landed. But hauled it in on the back risers and everything was ok. Hope the summer never ends!
