By embodying and exploring refined layers of the classical vocabulary ‘ On Lineage ‘ looks at the purity of the classical form. It explores our perceptions, expectations and preconceived ideas of the dance style and where it may fit into today’s society. This work is very conversational with its emergent contemporary perspective, using how present the physical form is in the dancers bodies.
