Adult Gap Year- China May 2024

A meaningful week and the second location of my adult gap year. My aunt, mom and I visited my uncle in HeShan China for 1 week. We took a boat ride to Zhongshan, China and my uncle picked us up from the ferry terminal. We spend a week visiting some distant relatives and exploring different areas of guangdong. I got to revisit my grandparent's village- see their old home and try their favorite foods (fish dumplings) from their village. We ate so much good and affordable food- my favorite meal was the congee hot pot at heshengsheng and all the sweet soups that were only about ~1USD.
