Around La Encantada Lake | Zacatecas Park Walking Tour [4K]

Lago La Encantada has been a recreational destination for people in Zacatecas for more than a century. The artificial lake was already considered a local outing by 1917, and today it remains at the heart of one of the city's most representative public parks. This time, we walk the main circuit around the lake, beginning at the entrance to Parque La Encantada and passing food stands, sculptures and areas used for walking and running. Along the loop we find Mini Zacatecas, the skating area, gym, pedestrian bridges, the train tracks and Biblioteca del Lago before reaching more views of the water, ducks, snack stands and the exterior of the aviary. The route continues by the boat rentals, connections with the Zacatecas Zoo, the Foro del Lago and the train station. Some areas are undergoing maintenance during our visit, including work related to the park's train infrastructure. We eventually return to the main circuit and finish beside the lake with the ducks at the dock.
