Ruger GP100: Strength | My Favorite Revolver Discontinued

The GP100 is my favorite revolver to date. If an American muscle car was a revolver, it would be the Ruger GP100. What it may be lacking in capacity, it makes up for in overbuilt brute force. The GP100 was discontinued on Oct 13, 2026 but I would predict that this one will not stay discontinued forever. The entire situation reminds me of the Disney Vault. At the end of the day, I think Ruger is smart for the recent decision. If the demand isn't there for a product, all companies pivot. I'd also bet that the discontinuation announcement created some demand in recent days. I'm glad I got mine many years ago and I won't be parting with it any time soon. The Strength card is number 8 in the deck and represents: strength, skill, courage, patience, self-awareness, compassion and determination. The GP100 matches that energy for me. I could see this one fitting right in on a character sheet for an character with gumption. You are responsible for yourself and your party. Be safe and be kind.
