How Was This NOT Replayed?

FUT's Xeus had his mouse fail during a crucial round against 100 Thieves at Champions Shanghai. Riot paused the match for 17 minutes, but the round still stood. This video goes through what happened, the repeated tech issues during the match, what the rules say, what FUT said afterward, and why the decision caused so much backlash. I'm not saying FUT definitely win Split if the round gets replayed. The bigger issue is what should happen when a player physically cannot play out a live round properly. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ CHAPTERS 00:00 Riot Refused to Replay This Round 00:30 How It Started 01:05 The Tech Disaster Begins 01:38 Why Riot Let the Round Stand 02:04 FUT Challenges the Decision 02:25 Split Falls Apart 03:09 Riot Had Already Found the Cause 03:43 Players Speak Out 04:23 FUT's Post-Match Reaction 05:30 Riot Has Replayed Rounds Before 06:09 Why This Actually Matters 06:27 Outro ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ SOCIALS Twitch: twitch.tv/skavical TikTok: @skavoval ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ SOURCES / CREDITS Riot Games 2026 VCT Official Competition Ruleset (Section 10.2.3) [PASTE RULEBOOK PDF LINK] Sheep Esports FUT coach Vlad's comments on the rollback decision [PASTE SHEEP ESPORTS ARTICLE LINK] Music "Tech Glitch" by The_Mountain, Pixabay Content License [PASTE PIXABAY TRACK LINK] Footage VALORANT Champions official broadcast [PASTE VOD LINK] VALO2ASIA press conference [PASTE VIDEO LINK] Broadcast footage is used for commentary, criticism and analysis. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ #VALORANT #VCT #VALORANTChampions #100Thieves #FUTEsports
