TPD #248 - Alex Hill & Toby Thomas (Mélancolia)

🔥 Here's our latest TPD podcast episode with Alex & Toby from Mélancolia #blackened #numetal 🔥 “Take some f***ing risks.” That's the mantra behind Naarm/Melbourne metallers ‪@melancolia_exe‬ and their uncompromising sophomore LP, ‘random.access.misery,’ out now through ‪@GreyscaleRecords‬ and ‪@NuclearBlastRecords‬. Vocalist and creative hive mind Alex Hill joins the show this week alongside bassist Toby Thomas to talk about why white is really more goth than black, why the future is forever shiny, blue, and chrome, why “blackened nu metal” is both a provocation and a challenge, and why the mighty fridge cigarette is the frostiest beverage of them all. ➤ Follow Mélancolia, purchase/stream ‘random.access.misery,’ and grab tickets for upcoming shows here: https://linktr.ee/melancolia_exe ➤ Follow and support the show: https://linktr.ee/tpdpod ➤ Shout out to Alex, Toby, Mélancolia, Greyscale & Nuclear Blast Records, Diet Coke, 884 Media, and Ophelia (Bigmouth PR) for hooking things up..
