#jackinthebox #florida #foodie 🌮🌮We went to the Grand Opening of the 1st Jack in the Box to return to Florida since the 80’s! We were so excited about this restaurant opening! We are obsessed with Jack in the Box! Specifically the addicting mystery meat tacos (I think it’s a mixture of soy and beef but I’m too lazy to fact check it). 🌮🌮 We are originally from Arizona and California so we grew up with Jack in the Box. We moved to the east coast in 2009 and haven’t had a Jack in the Box near us since then. Whenever we vacation to to West, I add Jack in the Box locations to every day on our vacation itinerary. It’s the 1st place I hit up when I step off the plane in the San Diego Airport. 3 years ago they announced that Jack in the Box was coming to Florida. I googled it every week for 3 years straight, impatiently waiting for it to happen. The day finally arrived!!! The grand opening was extremely successful. They passed out free Jack antenna toppers, just like the ones from the 80’s and 90’s! The nostalgia hit hard getting one of those! They also passed it mini menus and coupons for a free curly fries! The curly fries are so freaking good! The drive through line was extended to another parking lot and the line wrapped all the way around the back of a grocery store! There was a line just to go inside the restaurant too! It was a loooooooong wait to order and get our food but it was absolutely worth it just to eat those delicious taco again!
