Matt is out for a solo afternoon duck hunt on Halloween. He sets up in a new spot: a tiny pool surrounded by sedges. He throws out a few mallard decoys and sits in the sedge waiting for ducks. Thirty minutes later, he has a mallard limit. The ducks came and decoyed right into the spread at five to ten yards.
