Gammal Fäbodpsalm - Brass 10 Piece

This is a recording from my rehearsal for my final recital in Dukes Hall at the Royal Academy of Music, 03/10/09. Much thanks to everyone who helped make this recording possible. Gammal Fäbodpsalm, a folk hymn of Swedish origin is translated into English as Old cattle pasture hymn. It was arranged by Oskar Lindberg for organ when he edited the church of Sweden's hymn book and was later used by Swedish pop group ABBA during their 1979 tour. There have been many arrangements for trumpet, most notable is from Alison Balsam's album caprice for trumpet and strings. http://www.tongy.co.uk/music/gammalfa...
