This video shows short highlights from the full version available for sale from Manchester's Museum of Transport. It shows the Museum's 2006 LUT 100 event, from the preparation before the day to the free bus services and the displays commemorating what was once Britain's biggest, and probably one of the most affectionately remembered, local bus companies. Once upon a time, Lancashire United buses could be seen over a broad swathe of south Lancashire between Manchester and Liverpool. The company ran trams, trolleybuses and above all buses in their famous red livery unti in 1976 the company was swallowed up. For one weekend in 2006, LUT buses were back on the road again at the Museum of Transport.
