Dear Pharma Leaders, Learning & Development Teams, and University Partners….
Discover Horizon Sky’s Pharmaceutical Facility Planning Training Program— P.F.P.—a comprehensive visual-learning program designed for onboarding engineers, architects, project professionals, multidisciplinary pharma teams, and aspiring students seeking careers in the pharmaceutical sector.
How can professionals develop broader pharmaceutical facility-planning awareness without depending only on classroom presentations, limited site visits, or years of exposure across multiple live projects?
The P.F.P. Program addresses this onboarding and capability-development challenge through a unique combination of:
• Manufacturing process-flow explanations
• External and internal 3D walkthroughs
• Campus and facility-planning drawing studies
• Pharmaceutical utilities and engineering overviews
• Practical guidance based on real project experience
At the center of the program is a fully developed 80-acre virtual pharmaceutical campus, with approximately 1.6 million square feet of constructed area. It includes eight different manufacturing facilities, administration, warehouses, quality-control laboratories, a Central Utility Building, an electrical substation, technical floors, roads, services, and supporting infrastructure.
The eight manufacturing facility types covered are:
• Biologics Drug Substance—or B.D.S.
• Fill-Finish for vials, lyophilized vials, and ampoules
• Fill-Finish for cartridges and prefilled syringes
• I.V. fluids, including bags, L.V.P., and S.V.P.
• Ophthalmic products
• Oral Solid Dosage—or O.S.D.—for tablets and capsules
• Liquid oral products
• Ointments
The complete program contains 40 videos and approximately seven-and-a-half hours of structured learning across five modules:
Module One: Basics of Pharma Facility Planning
Module Two: Campus Master Planning
Module Three: Facility Planning
Module Four: Engineering Overview
Module Five: Real Projects Guidelines
Participants learn how manufacturing processes, personnel and material movement, cleanrooms, equipment, utilities, HVAC systems, electrical distribution, warehouses, laboratories, technical areas, and campus infrastructure connect within an integrated pharmaceutical facility.
The program is designed to help learners:
• Understand the organization of a complete pharmaceutical campus
• Connect manufacturing processes with facility layouts
• Visualize production and supporting areas through immersive 3D tours
• Develop broader architectural and engineering awareness
• Understand multidisciplinary project discussions more effectively
• Ask better questions and contribute with greater clarity and confidence
For pharmaceutical companies, the program can support structured onboarding, cross-functional learning, and professional capability development. Its virtual campus and internal facility tours can also reduce dependence on repeated introductory site visits and explanations from senior professionals.
For universities, colleges, and professional training organizations, the program can help bridge the gap between academic education and the practical expectations of the pharmaceutical industry.
This video presents the complete P.F.P. learning roadmap, including the sequence and purpose of all five modules.
