How to paint Holiday Ornaments

*How to paint bright and beautiful holiday ornaments! I usually post my Facebook Creative Community Live video on this channel but my camera was flipped, things were a bit wonky so I just created a new video. Hope it’s easier to follow along! These ornaments are so easy to make; I paint on either plastic or glass the same way. Add one coat of white paint so that the next set of colors are bright. Paint a few layers of your favorite color combinations of acrylic paint and then go to town with paint pens. Some tips: Dry before layers so the colors don’t blend but layer over each other. If you are using plastic balls then do not heat dry, just air dry between layers. Even with the paint pen work you may want to let each color dry as they are easy to smudge. I like to work on multiples so that while some are drying I could be painting on others. You could also paint a layer of matte medium (or modge-podge) when you are done and sprinkle on some glitter. Tie on a beautiful ribbon and these ornaments will be gorgeous on the tree!
