Trent Park House of Secrets - Learning Programme

An overview of the Trent Park House Learning Programme by Freshwater Theatre Company at Wilbury Primary School. Once the glamorous 1930s home of socialite Sir Philip Sassoon - who hosted royalty, politicians, and world leaders -Trent Park took on a dramatic new role during WWII. The house became a high-ranking German POW facility and the base for Britain’s ‘Secret Listeners’- intelligence officers hidden in the basement whose covert eavesdropping led to vital wartime breakthroughs.
