Natalie Cole, Sade, Anita Baker (1975) • Sophisticated Soul Rhythms | Classic Ladies • Golden Soul

✨ Welcome to Old Gold Records — Your ultimate sanctuary for timeless music. From the archive — a late-night soul set pulled from the back of the shelf, where satin vocals meet candlelit grooves and the room turns warm. This collection is inspired by Natalie Cole, Sade Adu, Anita Baker and the golden era of soul — poised lead lines carried by a tight rhythm section, velvet keys, and horn-and-string touches that swell without ever shouting. Think studio air you can hear: close-mic intimacy, rounded bass, and that classic sheen where every note lands like a confession. Liner notes: “You Reign Supreme” opens the door like a signature etched in gold, then “Once I Give My Soul” leans in closer—slow, certain, and unguarded. By the time “Uncommon Kind of Devotion” and “A Person I Once Adored” arrive side by side, the story feels lived-in: love held carefully, love let go cleanly, and a heart still choosing grace. For fans of: midnight slow-jams / plush lounge soul / heartbreak healers / late-drive devotion 📀 Tracklist 0:00 - You Reign Supreme 4:43 - Once I Give My Soul 10:11 - Distinguished Dame (A Woman Apart) 14:33 - Uncommon Kind of Devotion 19:11 - Only Mine 24:40 - A Person I Once Adored 29:30 - Indelible 33:50 - The Enigma 39:14 - Right Here With You 43:26 - Voice Your Heart 48:26 - Loop Album Subscribe to Old Gold Records and help keep these classic sounds alive—one spin at a time. ✨ Keep the gold spinning.
