Climbing Mount Apo, the highest peak in the Philippines, has been on my bucket list since I started hiking. So when the chance came, I thought, ‘Why not?’—knee injury and all. This was my first multi-day hike (3 days, 2 nights), and let’s just say my knees were not thrilled.
