The Men They Couldn't Hang - Scarlet Ribbons (Live at Live Theatre in Newcastle, UK, 1998)

The Men They Couldn't Hang- Live in Newcastle 04 Scarlet Ribbons The Men They Couldn't Hang had been evading the noose for 14 years when this gig was filmed in Newcastle in 1998. At that time this venue was one of our favourites. We'd played it 2 or 3 times before, however, this night, Johnny Parker (our buddy, van driver and general all rounder) had brought along a couple of video cameras and with the help of his sister and some friends put together what was to become the main feature of this film. The set is a perfect snapshot of the band at that time, and is made up of classic and more recent songs along with an exceptionally rare performance of 'The Wonder of it All'.
