Happy December everyone. welcome to mix 45. We're finally back to the cold holiday season that I love so much. being here in southern california the temps can be so hot and brutal but our winter months are absolutely perfect. I am sitting here at my desk looking out the balcony to beautiful mountain and palm tree views. I am so happy and honored to announce that in this mix I have 2 of my solo tunes. next month in january will be 3 years since I uploaded my first mix so to now have my own music playing with all the guys i've been inspired by is surreal. not only are two of my tracks in this mix, but I had the pleasure of releasing them on the prestigious brazilian label DNBB which was a dream come true. since my last mix, these passed weeks/month was full of high notes seeing two releases for me. my first solo on DNBB, and a collab with subrix on mathematica records. it felt nice to return to the label with such a talented well embraced producer in our community. subrix has had a huge impact on me so to make music together was also a dream come true. if I can be honest it happened through meditation. what I was given in silence was able to manifest itself here on our plane. there's something special about sitting in a quiet space and allowing yourself to receive. we are all worthy of everything our hearts long for. I can't stress enough to make silence an everyday part of your journey. Before I leave you to it, there is another thing i'd like to mention here, and that is the power of yoga. for years on end now I've been wanting to practice yoga. to go to a studio and really take a class. bikram hot yoga to be exact. after listening to dr wayne dyer mention it for so long now, I finally acted on it. a couple days ago I signed up and attended two nights in a row. all I can say is wow. truly wow. to stretch my body for 90 minutes in postures I never knew in an extremely high temperature sauna felt so liberating and healing. I've never sweat so much in my life. the first night midway through the class the instructor said "if you give up here, you give up in life." that really stuck with me. to put yourself through such a difficult task reminded me that we can accomplish anything. we must always keep going. when we overcome difficult tasks, everything else is a walk in the park. after a month of having a weird aching, pulling on my heal, the pain is gone. and this morning I woke up free of back pain. if this happened after only two classes, I can only imagine the benefits to come. mental health, spiritual health, and physical health...it is all one.
