Leicester glows to mark the reinterment of Richard III

On Friday 27th March 2015 King Richard III’s tomb was revealed in a ceremony at Leicester Cathedral. This was the final ceremony of the week of reburial activities after which the general public could come and pay their respects in front of the finished tomb. The week was brought to a close with fireworks and 8,000 candles being lit in the city centre.
