Solo Motorcycle Camping in Wales | Baffle Haus & Black Mountain Pass

It's time for another adventure on the Honda NT1100 — but this time, I'm heading off on my own! I've never really travelled away on my own before, apart from business trips, so this solo camping trip to Wales is something of an experiment. Will I enjoy the freedom of travelling solo... or will I discover that I don't even like my own company?! 😄 I set off from Salisbury for a solo motorcycle camping trip to Wales, making my way through Devizes and Chippenham before joining the M4 towards Newport. From there, I head onto the A4042 and make my way to the Baffle Haus, a well-known biker café, for a lunch stop before continuing towards my final destination — Cosmos Camping. The route takes me over the Heads of the Valleys road and the famous Black Mountain Pass, with some fantastic Welsh scenery along the way. Once I arrive at Cosmos Camping, it's time to set up camp for the weekend. While putting the tent up, I also take a look at a couple of new pieces of camping gear I've bought for this trip — the OEX Flux 7 sleeping mat and OEX Fathom EV300 sleeping bag. With camp finally set up, there's only one thing left to do... enjoy a few beers before turning in for the night and getting some sleep before tomorrow's ride!
