LANG PIONEER VILLAGE MUSEUM | Keene, Ontario

Come along with me for a full tour of Lang Pioneer Village Museum in Ontario, where historic buildings, demonstrations, artifacts, and stories bring the past to life! Located in Keene, Ontario, Lang Pioneer Village Museum is a living history museum featuring more than 30 historic and recreated buildings representing life in rural Ontario during the 19th century. In this video, I explore the village and take you inside and around many of its fascinating historic buildings, giving you an overview of what you can see and experience during a visit. One of the highlights of the village is the historic Lang Grist Mill, originally constructed in 1846 by Thomas Short using limestone from the Indian River. The mill has a fascinating history, including a major fire in 1896 and its subsequent rebuilding with roller milling equipment. 🎥 Want a much closer look at the Lang Grist Mill? I've also created a separate full Lang Grist Mill tour, where I take you inside and outside the mill and explore its architecture, milling machinery, equipment, and exhibits in much greater detail. 👉 Watch the Lang Grist Mill Full Tour:    • LANG GRIST MILL (1846) |  Lang Pioneer Vil...   The two videos work together perfectly: this video gives you the broader Lang Pioneer Village Museum experience, while the dedicated Grist Mill video takes a deeper dive into one of the village's most fascinating historic buildings. Whether you're interested in Ontario history, historic architecture, pioneer life, museums, old machinery, or heritage attractions, Lang Pioneer Village is a fascinating place to explore. 📍 Lang Pioneer Village Museum – Keene, Ontario, Canada If you enjoy discovering historic places and attractions throughout Ontario, subscribe to Canuck Girl Travels for more travel videos, museum tours, historic sites, and hidden gems. #LangPioneerVillage #LangGristMill #OntarioHistory #OntarioMuseums #HistoricOntario #PioneerVillage #MuseumTour
