I turned eggplant and ground beef into these delicious little spirals! 🍆🥩 A simple homemade dinner with tender fried eggplant, flavorful seasoned beef, and a rich tomato sauce. If you’re looking for an easy eggplant recipe or a delicious ground beef recipe, this oven-baked dish is simple, comforting, and full of flavor. Ingredients 3 eggplants 400 g ground beef 1 medium onion 1 tbsp tomato paste 1 cup water 1.4 tsp turmeric 1.4 tsp paprika 1.4 tsp garlic powder 1.4 tsp black pepper 1.2 tsp salt, for the beef mixture Salt, for soaking the eggplant Oil, for frying How to Make It Slice the eggplants and soak them in salted water for 30 minutes, then dry them well and fry until tender. Mix the ground beef with one grated, squeezed medium onion, 1.4 tsp each of turmeric, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper, and 1.2 tsp salt. Knead the mixture well until it becomes sticky and easy to shape. Take a small portion of the beef mixture, shape it, wrap it with a fried eggplant slice, and roll it into a little spiral. Arrange all the rolls in a baking dish. For the sauce, mix 1 tbsp tomato paste with 1.4 tsp turmeric, 1.4 tsp black pepper, 1.4 tsp garlic powder, and 1.2 tsp salt, then add 1 cup of water and mix well. Pour the sauce over the eggplant and beef rolls. Bake at 180°C / 350°F for 40 minutes, then serve hot and enjoy!
