Poor in Spirit | Beatitudes Part 1

Welcome to Part 1 of our series on the Beatitudes! In this opening message, Pastor Simeon unpacks Matthew 5:1–3, diving into how the poor in spirit are blessed. Rather than relying on ourselves, Jesus calls us to recognise our complete spiritual bankruptcy and utter dependence on God's grace. Join us as we explore the invitation into the Kingdom of Heaven and the heart posture adopted by those who inherit it. 📖 Sermon Title: Beatitudes | Part 1 - Poor in Spirit 🎤 Speaker: Pastor Simeon 📅 Date: 06/09/2026 0:00 – Introduction to the Beatitudes 2:24 –Understanding the Kingdom of Heaven 14:02 – Scripture Reading: Matthew 5:1–10 15:13 – Jesus as the Messiah 23:33 – Blessed Are the Poor in Spirit 35:25 – Choosing Dependence on God ✅ New to Faith?
