That little glass bell candle by the register smells like a winter forest, and the sticker on the bottom says almost sixty dollars. You put it back. So did I. Then I went home and copied it, and ten more, for about two dollars each.
One of them hides on a bookshelf, and nobody ever guesses where the smell is coming from. One is made from the part of the orange everybody throws away. One turns your fake Christmas tree into a real one. And the last one isn't a candle at all. It's the reason the store smells the way it does, and why your house doesn't, even when you buy their candle and bring it home.
What's the one store you walk into at Christmas just because of the way it smells? Tell me in the comments. I read every one.
