Surfing Taiwan POV “Secrets 秘密”｜Taitung Coast Was Fully Pumping! Secret Spot With Fun Lefts & Rights

Surf Condition: ★★★☆☆☆ 2026.09.26 The Taitung coast was fully pumping today, with waves cracking at almost every spot. To escape the heavy crowds, we headed to a nearby secret spot. Even though it's a hidden gem, I actually met quite a few local rippers out there, and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. To respect the local surf community and keep the lineup quality, I’ll be keeping the exact location low-key! XD From the beach, the lines looked absolutely flawless—perfectly clean lines peeling as a smooth left-hander. I couldn't wait to suit up and paddle out, but after catching my first wave, I immediately noticed the energy was a bit mellow, giving me major Batu Bolong vibes from Bali. It definitely seemed more suited for longboarding, but since longboarding isn't my thing, I moved over to the other side of the peak to hunt for rights instead. Honestly, while the lefts were long, the rights turned out to be way more fun with a bit more punch! At the end of the day, when the crowds get thinned out across different spots, having a less packed lineup makes the session absolutely magical. No doubt about it!
