In this episode, we continue building our farm from the ground up on the Eldred, Minnesota 4X map in Farming Simulator 25! After investing in some major new equipment, we’re continuing our Year 2 field preparation while also tackling our first ever Corn harvesting contract. To kick things off, we continue spreading Lime across our fields with the John Deere 7810 and Wilmar Super 800, while our John Deere 9620 works on cultivating the 80 acre field that we previously spread with Lime. We also make our final preparations for the last field before making a major change to the farm layout. One of the biggest projects of the episode is combining our 50-acre and 32-acre fields into one large field. We bring the Landoll 2131 23 shank Coulter Chisel over to remove the grass strip separating the two fields, allowing us to merge them together and create our biggest field yet at over 80 acres! Once the fields are connected, we switch the 9620 back to the 50 FT Landoll cultivator and get it set up with Courseplay to begin preparing the entire newly merged field for its first crop. Meanwhile, our first Corn harvesting contract is still underway! We continue harvesting the 68 acre field with our John Deere 9760 STS and 8 row Corn header, using the John Deere 8410T, J&M 875 auger wagon, J&M 655 gravity wagons, and our new Peterbilt 385 grain truck to keep the harvest moving. By the end of the episode, we’re roughly two-thirds of the way through the Corn contract, with a $75,000+ contract reward waiting for us once the job is complete. We should also have a significant amount of bonus Corn left over to sell, giving us the potential to turn this first Corn harvest into a $100,000+ payday for our $0 American farm!
