S2E6 Jardines de Mexico

A two hour drive south of Mexico City, in the state of Morelos, is the city of Cuernavaca, the "Garden of Mexico." I have three chapters to share with you from our time in Morelos. 1. In the city itself, our family enjoyed our time at the Hotel Argento. Our kids could hardly be removed from their two heated pools, lit with colourful lights at night. The bulk of our time today is spent at the Jardines de Mexico. Further south from Cuernavaca, I will tell you it was VERY HOT during our visit, which is part of why it was cut short. I hope you enjoy this meditative journey through the Labyrinth of the Senses, the Japanese Garden, and the European Garden. Our walk starts at 18.606905634366633, -99.28860523118449 3. In the downtown center of Cuernavaca, we walk through the plaza to spend some time exploring the Artesan Market. This was sheer delight for the senses. Sadly the museum in the Palacio de Cortes was closed on the only day we could visit, but even walking past it was cool!
