See the Parason HICON® High-Consistency Pulper and Dilution Pulper (DLP Series) successfully commissioned and now in operation at a tissue mill in South Africa. The HICON® Pulper operates as a batch high-consistency pulping system. Its helical high-consistency rotor creates strong circulation inside the vat, providing efficient and uniform slushing of the raw material. At high consistency, the system supports effective fiber disintegration and ink detachment while contaminants are removed gently, helping keep them uncut for easier downstream separation. Connected directly to the HICON® Pulper, the Dilution Pulper (DLP Series) performs two key functions. It dilutes the high-consistency stock for transfer to the next stage while separating plastics and other foreign materials. A drilled screen plate and rotating impeller help separate fiber from the rejects, enabling efficient fiber recovery with negligible fiber loss.
