The Karnataka State Farmers Association has given a call to block the Bengaluru-Mysuru National Highway in Mandya on October 23. The massive protest has been organized to demand a hike in sugarcane prices and a complete waiver of agricultural loans for farmers. Farmer leader Badagalapura Nagendra announced that farmers will block the highway near the Gananguru toll gate in Mandya to express their anguish. Speaking on the issue, he lashed out by stating that sugar factories are not under the government's control, as leaders across all political parties own them. Consequently, no one is questioning the factory owners, and several mills still have pending dues to clear for the farmers, he added. Noting that farmers in North Karnataka are also staging protests, he stated that proposals for fixing sugarcane prices have been submitted to the central government. They have demanded a fair price of Rs 5,500 per ton of sugarcane and proper recovery rates similar to neighboring Tamil Nadu. Accusing the Karnataka government of failing to clear pending sugarcane dues, he strongly demanded a complete waiver of farm loans. MLA Darshan Puttannaiah will also participate in the protest, and leaders have warned of an intense statewide agitation if the central and state governments fail to respond to farmers' rightful demands. #ShashikanthGuruji #mandyaprotest #bengalurumysuruhighway #sugarcane #darshanputtannaiah #badagalapuranagendra #karnatakanews #tv5kannada #kannadanews #tv5kannadalive #tv5karnataka ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ► SUBSCRIBE US 👉 https://googl/KJgCV9 ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ► TV5 KANNADA 24x7 LIVE 👉    • 🔴LIVE | TV5 KANNADA | ಟಿವಿ5 ಕನ್ನಡ ನ್ಯೂಸ್ ಲ... 👉 LIKE US ON FACEBOOK:   / tv5kannadatv   👉 FOLLOW US ON TWITTER:   / tv5kannada   👉 FOLLOW US ON INSTAGRAM:   / tv5kannada   👉 TV5 KANNADA WEBSITE : http://www.tv5kannada.com ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ TOP PLAYLISTS: 👉 http://bit.ly/3Vn7pG 👉 https://bit.ly/OGhIHB 👉 https://bit.ly/49qFZO ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬
