In this lecture, we explore inverse functions from both the algebraic and geometric perspectives. We will prove that a function admits an inverse, represent the function and its inverse on the same coordinate plane, and study their symmetry with respect to the line y=x. We will also: Find the intersection between a function and its inverse Determine tangent slopes and understand the relationship between the slopes of inverse curves Study compositions involving f and g Analyze the variation of a rational function and construct its variation table Restrict a function to an interval where it is one-to-one Prove the existence of the inverse function on that interval Calculate the derivative of the inverse function at a given point A complete exercise-based study of inverse functions, their geometry, and their derivatives. #CentroidX #InverseFunctions #Functions #Mathematics #Calculus #Derivatives
