Orange Flowers Fall (New Original Song)(Day of the Dead)

Happy Dia De Los Muertos! In the interest of full disclosure, I used AI to make this. The words are written by my 17 year old daughter. Give her some likes if you are so inclined, and keep the comments clean, or risk banishment. Lyrics The orange flowers fall by the gate Every day, the petals wait They curl in the dirt, then fade away Still the orange flowers fall by the gate Closer and closer still A hush moves over the hill The stones hold their breath tonight Closer and closer still The dead will rise, come near to us The dead will rise, and hear from us Orange flower fall, orange flower fall The dead will rise, come near to us At every door, the shadows lean Every day, the same old scene A nameless hand on the window pane At every door, the shadows lean Closer and closer still A chapel bell sounds from the hill We know what waits beneath the ground Closer and closer still The dead will rise, come near to us The dead will rise, and hear from us Orange flower fall, orange flower fall The dead will rise, come near to us If they come back with mud on their tongue If they come back where the ivy’s hung We’ll set one place by the open wall For the dead who rise when the orange blooms fall The dead will rise, come near to us The dead will rise, and hear from us Orange flower fall, orange flower fall Closer and closer still, they come to us
