If Christians are forgiven, why will they still stand before the judgment seat of Christ? Explore Paul’s teaching on the Bema, the testing of our works, and the relationship between grace and accountability. Romans 8:1 speaks of no condemnation in Christ. Yet 2 Corinthians 5:10 says we must appear before Christ’s judgment seat. How do these passages fit together? Through Paul’s encounter with Gallio in Corinth, David’s repentance, Peter’s restoration, and Zacchaeus’s response to Jesus, this Bible study explores forgiveness, consequences, faithful service, and eternal rewards. We also examine the fire that tests each builder’s work in 1 Corinthians 3, the Great White Throne in Revelation 20, and why Paul could face judgment with courage. This video presents an interpretation of these passages while acknowledging that Christians differ on aspects of final judgment.
