A Review of the Social Technology for Global Aging and Eldercare Project in China

The project, which has been ongoing in China over the past few years, is a collaboration with former Harvard students, now professors in China, from Tsinghua University, Fudan University, National Minorities University, and various universities in Nanjing. It involves multiple projects by faculty and students in six of Harvard’s Schools aimed at creating a new kind of collaboration between anthropologists, physicians, engineers, design experts, public health researchers, and others in which social science, engineering, and global health perspectives interact from planning through implementation to evaluation.
