Sealed By God - Part I

What does it truly mean to be sealed by God? In this opening lesson of “Sealed by God,” we explore Ephesians 1:13–14 and the meaning of God’s seal: His ownership, authority, authenticity, and security. The promised Holy Spirit identifies believers as God’s own and guarantees their future inheritance in Christ. Our first point, “God’s Seal Identifies Those Who Belong to Him,” examines the difference between religious activity and genuine faith in Jesus Christ. Church attendance, ministry titles, and family traditions cannot replace a surrendered heart. Through the examples of a purchased home and a military uniform, we consider how belonging to God should shape our choices, conduct, and accountability. Salvation is God’s gracious work, never something we earn through religious performance.
