Why Should we Learn Parts of Speech... or Grammar at all - for that Matter???

This video is a somewhat long explanation of why we learn the parts of speech. Also, we discuss at length why we learn grammar. It is intended for anyone who is looking for strategies to strengthen their writing by mastering this fundamental grammatical concept, and I only plan on going this in depth as I introduce grammar. I won't my kids to know how it all fits together, so they know why we learn grammar. This greatly helps with retention, purpose, and effort throughout the school year.
