1969 Olivetti Studio 45 typewriter at work

I've worked on more than half a dozen examples of this machine, but this is the first teal-blue one I've spent any time with. It really is strikingly handsome -- and it works beautifully as well. This successor model to the Studio 44 (introduced in 1952) was designed by the great Ettore Sottsass, and you can find it in museums around the world.
