Beautiful Sunset Views over Nara | Mt. Wakakusa, Nara Park, Japan

This is a hike up Mt. Wakakusa (Wakakusa-yama) in Nara, Japan in early December 2023. I allocated 2 hours going up and another 2 hours going down. Good weather and was greeted with golden light at the top, with deer frolicking about. Highly recommended if you're staying overnight in Nara. Mt. Wakakusa (Wakakusa-yama) is a 342 meter-high hill in Nara, Japan overlooking the city. On the fourth Saturday of January year, the dead grass of Mount Wakakusa is burned in an annual festival.
