BARCELONA VLOG | Sagrada Familia, the Picasso Museum, Camp Nou and more!

Hi & welcome to my Barcelona vlog🚍✈️🛩🗺🏝🏔 On May 23rd 2022 I flew to Barcelona, with five of my friends (Bethany joined us later). We arrived early so we walked around the area to get a feel for our surroundings before we could go to our air b&b. As soon as we got to our accommodation we all had a PHAT nap. That night we went out for dinner- and that was all we did for day 1. On day 2 we went to the Picasso Museum which was definitely one of my highlights of the trip. I love art and seeing Picasso's work irl was such a treat! We then went to a local restaurant where we ate delicious mussels. Later the girls and I went shopping in the city centre. On day 3 Beth arrived and we went to Sagrada Família, which was absolutely breath-taking however there were so many people!!! That afternoon we went to the aquarium which was okay... except all I could think about was how there were soooo many fish, and sharks and other sea animals, swimming in very small tanks. Even the penguins looked depressed :( On day 4 we went to Camp Nou which was a lot of fun. That evening some of us walked up to the El Carmel Bunkers which were built during the 1930 Spanish civil war, the view was incredible and we were fortunate enough to watch the sunset!! On day 5 we went to a market and later chilled at the beach. Overall, I want to go back! Barcelona is such a beautiful city and I feel like I didn't even see half of it!! I guess I'll just have to go back some time in the future... p.s. some of my favourite foods that I ate: fresh calamari, creamy tagliatelle with mushrooms, oh and i can't forget the local cafe we visited where I ate a pain au chocolat and an americano every mañana. fun facts about me: what is your name? - Jessica Murray-Gibbons how old are you? - 19 where are you from? - Northern Ireland what is your nationality? - Irish are you religious? - agnostic what is your star sign?
