The Born-Oppenheimer Approximation (Schrodinger Equation for Molecules)

In this video we introduce the Schrodinger Equation for molecules, describing each of the terms of the Hamiltonian. The Born-Oppenheimer approximation is defined and discussed as a means to simplify solving the Schrodinger Equation.
