Caught in a -21°C Heavy Snowstorm | How NOT to Freeze to Death! | Extreme Winter Survival 36 hours alone in a remote, cold mountain forest, where I rely on experience, bushcraft skills, and the natural resources around me to get through harsh and constantly changing winter conditions. This solo camping and survival adventure begins with finding a suitable location and building a temporary shelter among the trees and a fallen tree. On the first day, without a tent or sleeping bag, I use a piece of tarp and branches found in the forest to build a simple shelter for myself. Starting a fire in the snow, collecting firewood, staying warm, and preparing food are some of the biggest challenges during these 36 hours. I cook meat and hot bread directly over the fire and spend the night beside the flames in the heart of the cold forest. The next day, the weather becomes even harsher. Heavy snowfall, cold winds, and freezing conditions completely transform the forest and turn the continuation of the camp into a serious challenge. Cooking over the fire, peaceful moments beside the campfire, and listening to the natural sounds of burning wood, falling snow, and winter winds are all part of this 36-hour experience. No modern equipment. Alone in the forest. No tent and no sleeping bag.
